Discount Toner
It's a Good Idea to
Recycle a Toner Cartridge
Many people simply throw out
their old toner cartridges. They
don't know anything about the
recycled toner cartridge
industry. Recycling a toner
cartridge not only saves the
consumer money, but it also
protects the environment.
The toner-recycling industry is
quite simple. You have third
party companies that take your
empty toner cartridges. Then,
they are cleaned and filled with
brand new toner. A quality
control process is then used to
verify the toner cartridge meets
all the specification of your
laser printer manufacturer. If a
toner cartridge part is faulty,
it is replaced.
After the toner cartridge is
recycled and has passed the
quality control testing, it is
then sold again. The cartridge
is guaranteed to be as good as
your original toner cartridge.
These recycled toner cartridges
are sometimes referred to as
discount toner cartridges or
compatible toner cartridges.
However, be aware that there are
also toner cartridges that are
made from all new parts that are
also called discount toner
cartridges. Regardless of
whether the toner cartridge is
recycled or made from brand new
parts by a third party company,
the quality and quantity of
print is exceptionally good.
It's good to recycle toner
cartridges. It prevents
literally tons of plastic toner
cartridges from entering our
landfills. It takes years for
these oil-based products to
decompose. It also saves the
consumer up to 75% on toner
cartridges.
It’s easy to participate in a
toner cartridge recycle program.
Many major companies will allow
you to drop off your empty toner
cartridge at their store. So,
instead of throwing out that
empty toner cartridge, recycle
it. A recycled toner cartridge
is a win-win for you and the
environment.
